Encouraging Positive Behaviour in Children

Using the right behaviour management strategies are really important. If we want to see positive behaviours, then we must use positive behaviour management approaches. It starts with understanding why children behave in particular ways and working out how to respond positively and constructively. This will help you encourage better behaviour and combat difficult behaviour over time.

Through your examples, I’ll explain how to get started with positive behaviour management. We’ll look at:

  • why difficult behaviour happens

  • how to decrease difficult behaviour

  • how to increase the behaviour that works in your family

Bring along a nice hot cup of tea or chai, and we’ll have an interactive session with lots of time for Q & A.

Target audience: Parents/Caregivers of children in Kindergarten to Grade 3. Limited to 20 participants.

FACILITATOR: Dr Alefiya Nomanbhoy. Click here for more information about her.

COST: Free

ORGANIZER: PositiveLinks.net

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This session will be held using the ZOOM Meeting platform. After registering you will receive instructions on how to access the webinar via ZOOM. When you register, you will have an opportunity to ask a question of concern about managing your child. Feel free to let me know your concern, and I’ll try to address them during our session. The session may be recorded.
